Starting a New Analytics Chat
Follow these simple steps to start a new analytics chat and explore insights interactively with our analyst agent.
1. Open the Analytics Chat Page
- Click on Analytics Chat in the left-hand navigation bar.
- This will take you to the main Analytics Chat page.
- From there, click New Analysis to begin.
2. Select Accounts
- Choose any account or a combination of accounts that you want to analyze.
- The system will automatically tailor the available data contexts based on your selection.
3. Configure Your Analysis
This step allows you to define what data you want to analyze and how it should be grouped and timed.
3.1 Data Context
- Once you’ve selected your accounts, the feasible data contexts will be displayed automatically.
- Each context represents a specific analytical lens — for example, Ad Performance, Keyword, Landing Pages, and so on.
3.2 Grouping Context
- Choose the granularity of data you want — such as Campaign, Ad Group, or Ad.
- Grouping options depend on the data context you’ve selected as well as the accounts chosen.
3.3 Date Range
- Set start and end dates for your initial data pull.
- These are suggested ranges and can be refined later as your analysis evolves.
4. Start the Chat
- Click Start Chat to begin.
- You may see some key data assumptions — take a moment to review them.
- After that, you’ll be redirected to the chat page.
5. Explore the Chat Interface
Left Panel
- Displays all your selected context, including accounts, data context, grouping options and date range.
Main Chat Window
- Shows a few suggested questions to help you get started.
- Use the buttons below the input box to:
- Preview Sample Data
- View Account-Level Context
- Review Data Assumptions
6. Interact and Discover Insights
Now you’re ready to chat!
