Connecting Your Data to Aliveo AI
1. Logging In
Once you log in to Aliveo AI, you’ll arrive at your personalized dashboard. From here, all account management actions are just a few clicks away.
If your organization has two-factor authentication enforced, you’ll be guided through TOTP setup the first time you log in. See User Management for details.
2. Accessing “My Account”
- In the Navigation Bar at the bottom-left corner, click on your name / organization avatar.
- From the dropdown menu, select My Account.
This opens your account management interface where you can manage your lines of business, connected data sources, knowledge documents, context, and team members.
3. Adding Lines of Business
In the left panel, you can easily add and manage multiple lines of business (LOBs). Each business line can have its own unique data sources, advertising platforms, and context.
To add a new line of business:
- Click “Add New Business”.
- Enter a name and relevant details.
- Save it — it will appear in your sidebar.
Each business is an independent organization. Account-level and org-level context, dashboards, automation agents, and chats are all scoped to the active organization.
4. Selecting a Business and Choosing Platforms
Once you’ve selected a specific business, you’ll see a dropdown list that allows you to connect different advertising and analytics platforms.
Supported Platforms
Aliveo AI currently supports direct integration with the following platforms:
Ad platforms
- Google Ads
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads
- LinkedIn Ads
- TikTok Ads (including TikTok Video creative metadata)
- Apple Search Ads (ASA)
- Moloco Ads
Analytics & web data
- Google Analytics (GA4) — for first-party site/app data

- AppsFlyer
- Adjust
- Additional partners are added on request.
CRM and operational systems
- HubSpot
- Airtable
Custom & bring-your-own data
- CSV upload (up to 100 MB per file)
- Google Sheets /
.xlsxworkbooks - Custom warehouse exports (talk to us about direct API push/pull)
You can mix and match multiple platforms for each business as needed.
5. Connecting Ad Accounts
The integration process is streamlined for ease and security.
- From the list of supported platforms, select the platform you wish to connect.
- Click “Connect Now”.
- You’ll be redirected to the platform’s login or authorization page.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to grant Aliveo AI the necessary permissions.
- This ensures that Aliveo can securely access performance and campaign data from your selected accounts.
- Once authorization is complete, you’ll be automatically redirected back to Aliveo AI.
6. Finalizing the Connection
Back on the Aliveo AI interface:
- You’ll now see a list of all available ad accounts associated with the connected platform.
- Select the accounts relevant to your chosen business.
- Click “Connect” to finalize.
That’s it — your accounts are now linked!
7. Data Synchronization and Notification
Aliveo AI will automatically start pulling data from your connected accounts. This process may take a few hours, depending on the data size.
Behind the scenes, we also pull change logs, breakdown data (audience, placement, device, geo), and creative assets, so historical context is preserved even after you make changes in the ad platform.
✅ You’ll receive an email notification once the initial data sync is complete.
8. Adding Custom Data
Aliveo AI also allows you to add custom data through CSV uploads or Google Sheets / .xlsx files. This is ideal for bringing in data from other tools, reports, or internal systems.
Uploading Custom CSV Files
You can upload custom CSV files of up to 100 MB per file.
Steps to upload:
- Select Custom Data from the data source dropdown and hit Connect.
- Choose the CSV file from your local system using the file picker.
- Once uploaded, Aliveo AI automatically detects columns and metadata, and shows a snapshot of your data.
- Add a title and an optional description for your dataset, then click Next.
- In the next step, choose which columns you want to keep and assign appropriate data types (e.g.,
ID,Category,Metric, etc.). - Optionally, tag columns with semantic hints so the AI knows how to use them—e.g. revenue, cost, KPI, date, region. These hints feed into the Data Knowledge Graph and improve answer quality.
- Click Save to confirm.
Aliveo AI will then start processing your data in the background. 📩 You’ll receive an email notification once the dataset is ready to be used.
Connecting Google Sheets
You can also connect Google Sheets (and .xlsx workbooks shared via Drive) using a similar flow:
- Select Google Sheets from the data source options.
- Paste the URL of your Google Sheet or workbook.
- Grant view access to Aliveo’s service account when prompted — this allows us to read your sheet securely.
- Once access is confirmed, you’ll see a snapshot of your data just like with CSV uploads.
- Choose columns, set data types, optionally tag them, and Save to complete integration.
Aliveo AI will process your sheet and notify you via email once it’s available in your workspace.
Joining Custom Data with Ad Platform Data
If your custom data shares a key column with your ad platform data (e.g. campaign_id, campaign_name, country), you can join the two so they show up as a single dataset in Chats and Automation Agents.
- On the integration card, click Join with ad data.
- Pick the ad platform data context to join against.
- Choose the join key(s) and confirm the join type.
Custom data joins are how customers blend conversion-lag adjustments, offline conversions, brand-tracker scores, or first-party CRM signals into the same conversation as their paid-media metrics.
Refreshing custom data
Connected Sheets and uploaded CSVs can be re-uploaded or refreshed on demand from the integration card. You’ll get a fresh email confirmation whenever a refresh completes.
9. Attaching Supporting Documents
Beyond raw rows-and-columns data, you can attach knowledge documents—Google Docs, Google Sheets, CSVs, or custom inline text—to give Aliveo AI critical business context (campaign-naming conventions, KPI definitions, brand voice, etc.).
Documents can be scoped:
- Per integration (e.g. only your Google Ads account)
- Per business
- Globally across the whole organization
Aliveo AI consults these documents in chats and automation agents.
See Knowledge Documents for the full setup.
10. Setting Your Business Context
After connecting your data, take a few minutes to set up Context—the natural-language rules that tell Aliveo how to read your data.
- Define KPIs and acronyms used across the company at the Global level.
- Override or extend those defaults at the Org and Account levels.
- See The Context System for the full guide.
A few minutes spent on context pays for itself the first time you ask a question that needed a definition Aliveo didn’t know.
